Please take a look at some of our exciting actuator
examples.

This device is one of the simplest designs
capable of achieving high resolution linear motion. It was first conceived
as a drive system for EDM (Electro Discharge Machining) machine tools,
an application that benefits from high resolution and low inertia. |

This device is an example of a travelling
wave actuator. The actuator is configured to give high resolution
positioning of a wire or electrode. Applications include precision
welding and micro-hole EDM drilling machine tools. |

This is another example of a travelling
wave actuator system. This device allows accurate positioning of a
reflector for use with optical scanning systems. Beam positioning
is possible in two degrees of freedom - a third degree of freedom
is also available to allow rotation around an axis which is co-axial
with the device centerline. Angular travel is nearly a full 180degree.
This is an example of how multiple degrees of freedom motion are available
using only one actuator. By comparison, using traditional galvanometer
technology, more than one actuator would be required to achieve this
objective. |
